Hellooo my dear readers! Today, we’re taking you on an exciting journey!
Selinnaz Duysak, Pelin Aybay, and I developed an AI-integrated teaching material based on the OGM Material for High School Prep Classes from the “Heroes and Heroines” unit. Our goal was to combine creativity and technology to help students improve their English while engaging with AI tools like ChatGPT.
The activity began with us introducing a superhero we had created, complete with three unique abilities, as an example. Students were then guided to use ai tools to design their own superheroes, giving them three distinct powers. This encouraged creativity and allowed students to practice English in a fun, interactive way.
The task's aim was to show how generative AI can support language learning while making the process enjoyable and memorable. It was a great way to integrate technology into education and inspire studencts to think outside the box!
